Compare to Grand Residences' rate quotes and you will see that it is advantageous to rent from an owner. Also, check Expedia, trivago, etc. and you will see that the prices are higher for just the resort view not OCEANFRONT and then taxes and fees are added to the advertised rate making it quite advantageous to rent from an owner.

BOOK EARLY AS THESE ARE VERY HIGH DEMAND WEEKS: week 51 (Christmas), 52 (New Year), and they are BEACHFRONT (not the same as Ocean "view"), both (week # and location) of which make them premium. And supply is typically low as most owners use their units at this time of year, so there are very few rentals available
COMPARATIVE PRICING: Check listings by the Grand Residence Elite Rentals directly, Trip Adviser (rates this #1, 5 circles), the Leading Hotels of the World, and Expedia--all list these units for approximately $450+/nite for the Jr. Deluxe Suite, $668+/nite for the Master Suite, and approx.. $1100/nite for the entire unit—and there are taxes and fees on top of this! ** And they will push all-inclusive (which is optional if renting thru an owner) My rates have no additional fees or taxes.—except what you may spend on your own. **When booking through an agency or similar, you are put in a rental pool for later assignment, and they will not necessarily guarantee you a beachfront unit.
NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION:
This is the ultimate luxury facility on the Riviera Maya (Trip Adviser rated #1, 5 circle rating). It is high end, but low key and casual (no "attitudes"). Staff goes out of their way to please the guests. My pricing is very reasonable, especially for these high demand, BEACHFRONT, weeks (comparisons available below). Again, the reader can do comparative pricing with all of the above resources.
These are basically condominium types of apartments fully equipped with top of the line equipment-- again, with a staff that goes out of their way to please the guests. All rooms are typically assigned a concierge person to assist with coordination of internal and external activities and restaurant recommendations. There is MAID SERVICE TWICE DAILY.
Amenities include flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, DVD player and iPod dock. It has a Private terrace with a Jacuzzi.
These are 3RD floor BEACHFRONT units—not to be confused with Ocean “View,” which most listed units with rental companies are. There are no units in front of you… and you have unobstructed views up and down the coast, as well as the local reef. The view is to the east, so you get views of the sunrise. These are absolutely awesome, classy, luxurious units accompanied by great atmosphere and ambiance in the facility in general. You can do all of your meals in your units, or you can eat out. There is a convenience store on the premises (pricey) but certainly “convenient” for almost anything you could need for your stay, including alcoholic beverages and wine. There are local markets where you can find all of the same items and more at better prices. This locale is a great contrast—the luxury of the hotel vs. the traditional quietude of the town which is classic old Mexico, not yet built up and touristy.
If you want a lot of action and activity, crowded beaches, numerous places to eat, then Cancun is the place. If you want quietude and peace, somewhat remote, then this is the place. This is old Mexico, a quiet fishing village. A lot of artists and ex-patriots live and retire here. There are two good restaurants at the hotel (with more in planning) with a generous breakfast buffet, regular lunches and dinners, often theme nights (Steak, BBQ, Italian, etc.) available with the latter. There is also a bar-restaurant right next to the beach, open all day; and of course pool (2) and beach service all day. There are local markets and restaurants in the town, a short cab ride away. (I can provide some descriptions and recommendations here)
You can do as much or as little as you want on any given day. Concierge service is available to answer all questions, recommend restaurants and shopping in the town, arrange for transportation (taxis, rental cars, airport transfers, etc.), arrange for golf, fishing, and other activities. The resort is directly connected to a top tour company which can arrange for all imaginable activities to include excursions and adventures to ruins, snorkeling and diving, entertainment, etc., at reasonable and competitive prices. There are tennis courts on grounds. Car rentals can be arranged by the day or week. There is a special kids facility dedicated to entertaining young children. “Optional” all-inclusive meal programs are available (most large hotels have “mandatory” all-inclusive programs).
You can rent a home or apartment, or a small hotel room, maybe on the beach or “within walking distance,” maybe with “ocean view,” all for a lot less money, but you will be all alone, and you won’t know what to expect till you get there, and you will likely be disappointed. Here you will be staying in a full-service, fully-staffed facility with twice daily maid service and all amenities. While remote and quiet, you will not be alone.
In addition to the pictures on this RedWeek website, there are pictures of units and location on the Grand Residences website. ALSO AVAILABLE ARE REDWEEK LISTINGS AT ROYAL SANDS AND ROYAL HACIENCAS FOR THE SAME WEEKS.
